Experimental technician

Everything that becomes big grows slowly.

My tasks at the CDA :

Changing our agricultural model, being in contact with farmers and understanding the living world are commitments that make sense in my daily work. As a young agronomist, I am involved in to make agriculture sustainable for people and compatible with life.

Within the R&D department, I accompany various experiments, most often on farms. My missions consist in carrying out protocols, collecting data and setting up indicators for monitoring plants and soil. The themes of the trials are as varied as the challenges of the agroecological transition: plant cover, biointrant, soil functioning, etc.

These experiments are opportunities for our partners to find innovative solutions adapted to the territories. The reflections associated with it are both exciting and motivating.

My background :

Before the CDA I had the opportunity to work as a farm worker in France and abroad, accompanying farmers on various issues (harvest management, etc.) and working on the implementation and monitoring of agricultural trials and training. These experiences allowed me to discover different agricultural contexts (tropical, drought, isolation, etc.), farming systems and social environments.

My key skills :

  • Global approach to operations
  • Setting up experimental protocols
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Scientific watch
  • Agroecology outreach
  • Group facilitation

The CDA supports agricultural professionals in their agro-ecological transition. Because agroecology is the future of agriculture, act, contact us.
